Julius AI miscalculates localized spreadsheets: commas, spaces and dates

Symptoms

• Amounts are counted as zero or as text
• Dates have the month and day swapped
• The result has fewer rows than the file

Causes and fixes

1. Numbers use a decimal comma and space as the thousands separator

What to do: Save the CSV with a dot as the decimal separator or say in the request: "comma is the decimal separator, remove the thousands spaces"

2. Dates in DD.MM.YYYY format

What to do: State the date format in the request or convert to YYYY-MM-DD before uploading

3. Rows with gaps were silently dropped

What to do: Ask it to show the row count before and after each step
