n8n is an open-source automation platform: node-based workflows, dozens of nodes for models and agents, memory, vector stores and tool calls. Its main advantage for businesses with sensitive data is self-hosting on your own server, where data stays in-house and executions are not billed. The cloud version removes the admin work. Setup needs someone with basic technical skills.
