How to check the answer
A candidate understands from the text what they will do every day and how they will be evaluated, fewer than ten requirements remain once the nice-to-haves are cut, and there are no discriminatory criteria
Pitfalls
- The model produces a list of twenty requirements, half of them unnecessary: keep only those without which you would reject the person
- The salary range and the internal structure of the department are confidential: put into a public service only what you are ready to see on a job board
Step-by-step versions by role
- Write a job ad and a job description: HR manager
- Write a job ad and a job description: Manager
- Write a job ad and a job description: Recruiter
